Assignment Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end material replenishment processes to ensure continuous availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to maintain the optimal balance between demand and resource availability.
  • Ensure stock availability in the required quantity, at the right time, and at the right location.
  • Collaborate closely with Upstream and Downstream Planning Leaders, Supply Planners, and Inventory Planners to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages or excesses.
  • Monitor and act upon MRP exception messages (e.g., expedite, delay, or cancel orders) to ensure supply continuity.
  • Define and update inventory parameters such as safety stock, lead times, and reorder levels.
  • Analyze supply and inventory performance metrics to identify risks and take corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) by ensuring supply and replenishment data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and manage expedite mode when needed.
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material flow efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage inventory rebalancing processes and escalate critical shortages through the RED Alert management process.

Skills Required

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of MRP, Inventory Planning, and Supply Chain processes.
  • Knowledge of ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, or OneMM.
  • Familiarity with planning and visibility tools like Kinaxis, SSP, or E2E Control Tower.
  • Ability to analyze Need vs. Resource Balance and apply different replenishment strategies (MRP, ROP, Kanban, etc.).
  • Good understanding of vendor management concepts such as Consignment, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and Advanced Supplier Warehouse.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for issue resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
