Assignment Details

Our client, a leading FMCG organisation is looking for Consultant- Procurement Manager. The consultant will drive initiatives aimed at unlocking cash potential and generating cost savings among A-category Contract Manufacturers (CMs) across India. The role focuses on optimizing working capital, restructuring conversion costs, and implementing process improvements to deliver significant benefits in both cash flow and operational efficiency.

 

Key Deliverables:
Cash Potential Unlock: ~10 Million
CM Savings (Restructuring & Benchmarking): ~2 Million
 

Key Accountabilities:
Conduct comprehensive Working Capital (WC) analysis for CMs to identify opportunities for cash release and collaborate with WC CM partners to drive PT extensions.
Lead conversion cost-saving initiatives through line-level cost benchmarking at each CM and oversee CSC restructuring to ensure realization of savings in CPT.
Enhance processes at C-category CMs, focusing on FG costing and material reconciliation processes.
Support the advancement of CMs from C-category to A-category status by implementing best practices in cost control, quality, and process efficiency.
Assist in restructuring the HC network to optimize operations.
Develop and implement compliance requirements and policies for CM operations.
Drive digitalization and standardization of cost sheets for improved efficiency.
Monitor and manage Sigma CM Program Modules, serving as the Control Tower for CM operations.
