Assignment Details

Our client, a leading Indian conglomerate, is looking for an independent consultant who can deliver the following responsibilities : 

 

Client is organising a procurement event for which an event management firm has already been engaged. They now seek a consultant to run the PMO and help with coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Deliverables
 

  • Act as the single-point PMO interface between the client’s internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain the master project plan, timelines, milestones, and dependencies for the procurement event.
  • Track deliverables, risks, issues, and action items across all stakeholders and ensure timely closure.
  • Coordinate information flow between internal and external vendors.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed scope, timelines, and governance processes.
  • Support preparation of status reports and updates.
  • Assist in stakeholder communications, meeting scheduling, MoM documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Flag delays, conflicts, or scope creep early and drive resolution.
  • Support post-event closure, documentation, and handover of learnings to the client team
  • Create post conference data and circulate and update the key repository.

Skills Required

  • HR & PMO experience is mandatory 
  • Expertise in developing and managing master project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and governance frameworks for complex procurement or event-driven initiatives.
  • Proven ability to track deliverables, risks, issues, and action items, proactively flagging delays, scope creep, or conflicts and driving timely resolution.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, supporting status reporting, stakeholder updates, meeting management, MoM documentation, and structured follow-ups.
  • Experience in post-event closure, documentation, knowledge transfer, and maintaining centralized repositories to ensure continuity and capture key learnings.
