Assignment Details

Our Client, a Management Consulting Firm, is looking for a Consultant - Practice Manager. It is a a unique opportunity to shape the future of the GOMx Practice by driving both people and client activation efforts. You will work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and innovation, enabling impactful client engagements and fostering a thriving practice community. Key Responibilities:


1. Practice Convening & Knowledge Management

  • Set up and manage practice calls, including cross-sector partner meetings, to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Proactively convene cross-sector partner discussions to align on opportunities, share insights, and drive practice priorities.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the global CST on knowledge assets, documents, and resources, ensuring accessibility and relevance. Quickly guide and connect CST members to the right people and resources.
  • Act as a key enabler in pivoting the practice’s focus toward AI and digital transformation, driving knowledge dissemination and capability building.

 


2. Client Activation & Pipeline Management

  • Convene and facilitate practice-wide client activation and managing pipeline calls (keeping track of open opportunities and ensuring ownership on each) across three sectors (consumer, TMT,AI), ensuring alignment on priorities and opportunities.
  • Orchestrate large LOPs/Proposals, driving client activation efforts and ensuring impactful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with partners and teams to identify and pursue new client opportunities, leveraging the practice’s expertise and capabilities.

 


3. People Development & Practice Operations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for people-related discussions, including utilization, staffing, and professional growth.
  • Lead and participate in committee discussions to support people development and ensure alignment with practice priorities.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance practice engagement, foster a culture of collaboration, and support individual growth journeys.
  • POC for experts/senior experts of the practice.

 


4. R&E Outreach & Thought Leadership

  • Support market outreach efforts, including publications, events, and partnerships (e.g., NASSCOM), to enhance the practice’s visibility and impact.
  • Coordinate R&E (Research & Engagement) outreach by tracking and supporting who is driving key discussions and publications, ensuring alignment and visibility across the practice.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to position the practice as a thought leader in the GOMx space.
  • Work with external vendors and partners to coordinate external relationships. 

 

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in practice management, client activation, or a similar role, ideally within a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and relationship building.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to pivot into emerging areas such as AI and digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management systems and tools, with a focus on enabling effective knowledge sharing.
  • A passion for people development and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
