As Senior Manager of institutional Fundraising, you will support and independently coordinate fundraising efforts for a diversified portfolio of global and domestic institutional funders (including charitable foundations, multilateral agencies, family foundations and high net-worth individuals). Acting as a central focal point, collaborating with multiple teams across the organization to translate ideas into strategic, compelling and engaging proposals and be responsible for donor
reporting and management. You will be working closely with program managers, researchers, finance and human resource professionals, fundraising experts and communication specialists and will be a member of the lean and enterprising Resource Mobilization and Communication Team and will report to the Deputy Director – Resource Mobilization and Communication.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies and set goals to hit fundraising targets, including corpus and program
funding.
• Identify and research new funding opportunities with institutional funders.
• Independently prepare concept notes, program proposals and budgets to potential funders
• Represent ARMMAN at conferences, sector events, and networking to identify and connect with potential donors/ relevant stakeholders
• Write proposals and applications for grants and awards and prepare budgets
• Maintain high quality relationships with a portfolio of relevant funders: ensure regular contact and follow up, timely reporting, arrange and lead calls and meetings, answer email enquiries, develop new contacts.
• Complete Quarterly/ Half-yearly reporting requirements for all institutional donors
• Plan, organize and attend field visits with donors
• Organize virtual and offline networking events in collaboration with existing funders
• Other tasks as requested
Location: Mumbai/Delhi (Onsite)
Capacity: Full time
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in PR, Fundraising, Social Work, Business Administration or any relevant field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven track record in successful grant proposal and report writing.
• Excellent planning, time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work effectively as part of a small close-knit team
• Ability to work independently, yet communicate and coordinate clearly and regularly with the wider team when proposal development requires
• Highly self-motivated, with a proactive nature to seek out new opportunities
• Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and experience in extracting and analyzing data
• Entrepreneurial approach to solving problems
• Preferable: Experience with CRM systems
