Assignment Details

1. Identifying the top competitors for the planned product line in the top urban markets around the country - this will be undertaken by leveraging the knowledge of the team plus primary/secondary research to complete the picture as needed
2. Mapping the positioning and pricing strategies of other brands (by key market)
3. Identifying quick learnings from experiences in India of similar categories
4. Assessing where the company products fit vis-a-vis competitors and identifying aspects that need to be refined/modified (in conjunction with the senior team)
5. Developing a framework to think about the pricing strategy over the next 3 years based on
- best practices (i.e., ideal frequency of changes)
- expected changes in key input costs
-target margins given expected marketing and branding spends
6. Providing inputs into other aspects of the product launch plan including planned geographic roll-out, product extensions etc.

Skills Required

1. Accounting and Financial modeling experience is a must
2) Strategy/management consulting experience from a top tier firm is expected
3) Prior experience of undertaking pricing and marketing positioning analysis is a must.
4) Knowledge of the food delivery space in India. At a minimum strong experience in the broader FMCG space is expected.
