Our client, a Family Office evaluating a strategic investment in the medical consumable and molecular diagnostics sector is seeking to engage a Senior Technical & Commercial Due Diligence Expert (in the medical aesthetics domain) on a consultancy basis who brings deep
technical, regulatory, and commercial knowledge of this sector. The focus is on evaluating a
business involved in cosmetic implants, facial aesthetics (e.g., dermal fillers, threads, injectables), and related aesthetic dermatology products.
You will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive technical and commercial due diligence
covering everything from product approval and distribution networks to market positioning, pricing strategy, and scalability.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead the technical and commercial due diligence for a target company in the aesthetic
dermatology and medical cosmetic space.
• Assess product portfolio including cosmetic implants, lip fillers, facial threads, injectables,
and skin rejuvenation products.
• Evaluate regulatory compliance (DCGI, CDSCO, CE, USFDA where applicable) and distribution
certifications.
• Analyze supply chain, channel partnerships, import dependencies, and pricing strategies.
• Benchmark the product quality, safety protocols, and training standards against leading
global brands.
• Assess market trends, demand dynamics, and competitive positioning in the Indian
aesthetic dermatology market.
• Identify key business risks, including regulatory, margin pressures, and dependency on KOL-
led sales.
• Provide actionable insights and a strategic due diligence report to guide investment
decisions

Location- remote
•Minimum 12–15 years of experience in the medical aesthetics / aesthetic dermatology /
cosmetic implant sector.
• Deep understanding of facial aesthetics – especially lip fillers, facial threads, dermal
injectables, and implant-based aesthetics.
• Experience working with or advising leading global aesthetics firms such as Allergan
(AbbVie), Galderma, Merz, Motiva or their Indian distributors.
• Knowledge of the distribution and sales model in India, including clinic networks,
dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic chains.
• Past experience in commercial due diligence or investment evaluation preferred.
• Exposure to product approvals, training processes, and adverse event tracking mechanisms
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in Pharma, Cosmetology, Biomedical Sciences, or Aesthetic Medicine.
• MBA or exposure to business/financial strategy roles is a plus.
• Strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in aesthetic dermatology is a bonus.
• Demonstrated ability to connect technical, regulatory, and commercial insights into
strategic decision-making
