Assignment Details

Our client, a leading education services research house that provides solutions and products to solve the pain points of the key stakeholders is looking to engage with a strong accomplished Research Analyst who can act as a Jr. strategy consultant and help the Strategy Team to the CEO to

• Strategic initiatives:

o Researching and keeping up to date with the latest trends, innovations, and
best practices.
o Play a pivotal role in supporting our CEO, in making pitches, proposals,
tenders to governments, and consulting with schools for their transformation
initiatives.

• Fundraising and Investor Relations:

o Collaborate closely with the CEO to raise funds from prospective financial or
philanthropic investors.
o Build and nurture relationships with potential investors, leveraging your
network and industry knowledge.
o Develop compelling pitches and presentations to effectively communicate
investment opportunities to investors.

• I-Banking M&A and Buy-Side Deals:

o Lead the identification and evaluation of potential M&A opportunities,
primarily on the buy-side
o Perform financial analysis and commercial due diligence for
potential acquisitions.
o Develop financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses.
o Provide support throughout the negotiation and execution of M&A
transactions.

• Education Consulting:

o Consult with schools to drive their transformation initiatives, with a focus on
the K-2 education sector.
o Offer and aggregate expert guidance on curriculum development,
educational technologies, and pedagogical strategies relying on internal or
external sources.
o Deliver high-impact presentations and workshops to school administrators
and educators.
o Develop a strong pipeline of value creation ideas and feed them to the CEO.

• Assistance with Thought Leadership:

o Work closely with the CEO to assist in writing and publishing thought leadership articles, reports, and other content.
o Collaborate closely with cross- functional teams, including executives, researchers, and analysts.
o Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the CEO, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting the organization's goals and initiatives.

Skills Required

• CA or MBA in Finance and strategy or equivalent preferred.

• This position requires a strong background in management consulting from top-tier firms (MBB), Big 4 accounting firms, Investment Banking, and M&A advisory
services, in Education and EdTech practices.

• Proven initiation in fundraising, investor relations, and M&A, with a track record of participation in successful transactions in in education and edtech practice.

• Exceptional analytical capabilities, with advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

• Advanced modelling skills in MS Excel, AI tools using quant analysis, PowerPoint, MS Word, Office 365 suit of product including MS teams, Power BI, Tableau, and other relevant software tools.

• Outstanding presentation (verbal, written) skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively collaborate with senior industry figures.

• Willingness to travel extensively as required.
