One of our clients, a leading management consulting firm is looking to engage with a Business Transformation Consultant (Focused on Transmission and Distribution of Power & Utilities). Some key responsibilities are listed below -
Key Responsibilities
• Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Power Systems/ Energy Management, or related fields
• Experience working with power utilities (GENCOs, TRANSCOs, DISCOMs) and solid
understanding of power sector fundamentals.
• Prior experience with implementation agencies / PMAs (e.g., CRISIL, ICRA, WAPCOS,
Feedback Infra etc.) directly or through Big 4 firms (Deloitte, KPMG etc.)
• Familiarity with power sector regulations, market operations, trends and tariff structures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, manage risk, and track the success of
initiatives.
• Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint; bonus if exposure to SCADA systems, GIS,
load flow modeling, or asset analytics platforms.
• Comfortable working with large datasets, operational KPIs, and financial modeling.
