Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation is seeking an experienced Business Strategy Consultant with a consulting background, particularly in Industrial Consulting.
The primary responsibilities for this role include:
1. Supporting the establishment of the Services Business Consulting practice, contributing to strategy development, process implementation, and methodology creation.
2. Leading efforts to scale up the current consulting team, overseeing recruitment, training, and mentoring initiatives while establishing partnerships, alliances, and resources to support consulting activities.
3. Identifying and evaluating consulting opportunities within the industrial sector, analyzing market trends, client needs, and competition to develop a robust pipeline of projects.
4. Engaging with clients to understand their challenges, objectives, and requirements, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to effectively position our consulting services.
5. Leading negotiations with clients on consulting contracts, pricing, and terms, ensuring alignment between client expectations and the scope of services offered.
6. Leveraging technical expertise to contribute to consulting projects, particularly in areas such as energy audits and power quality assessments, to drive solutions offered by the client's Energy Management portfolio.
7. This position will report directly to the Business Head and offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our business strategy consulting initiatives.
This project is for a duration of 12 months and extendable and requires the consultant to work On- Site in Bangalore devoting their Full-Time Capacity.
Skills Required
Key Skills Required:
1. Strong consulting background, with a focus on industrial consulting, ideally with experience at a Big 4 firms.
2. Around 20 years of industry experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of business strategy and industrial processes.
3. Engineering background, providing a solid foundation in technical concepts relevant to industrial consulting projects.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and key stakeholders.
5. Proven track record in setting up and scaling consulting practices, showcasing strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
6. Proficiency in identifying consulting opportunities, analyzing market trends, and developing robust project pipelines.
7. Negotiation and pricing expertise, ensuring alignment between client expectations and the scope of consulting services offered.
8. Comfortable with technical aspects of consulting projects, particularly in areas like energy audits and power quality assessments.
9. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic business environments.
