Our client is a global FMCG firm and they are looking to engage with a Consultant- Finance Manager- Supply Chain.
The consultant will play a true pivot role in the Supply chain and Finance of the organization. The incumbent plays a key role in performance management, being directly involved in the definition of the client's strategy and ensuring it translates successfully in the annual results. The candidate shall have strong expertise in budgeting, costing, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), assessing capital expenditure (Capex) proposals, and business partnering with the supply chain for network optimization and cost savings. Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is preferred, though candidates with experience in any manufacturing organization will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and Costing: Develop, monitor, and manage budgets and cost control systems to ensure optimal financial performance.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Capex Proposals: Assess and evaluate capital expenditure proposals to ensure alignment with financial goals and strategic objectives.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize network operations and drive cost savings initiatives.
- Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain and other operational areas.
- Accounting Principles: Apply strong knowledge of accounting principles in day-to-day financial operations and reporting.\
- Marginal Costing: Utilize marginal costing techniques to analyze and manage product costs.
- Capital Budgeting: Develop and manage capital budgets to support long-term investment decisions.
-Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis including price, volume, and mix variances to understand financial performance and provide actionable insights.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in budgeting, costing, FP&A, and Capex assessment.
- Strong business partnering skills, particularly with the supply chain function.
- Experience in FMCG is highly preferred; however, candidates with experience in
any manufacturing organization will also be considered.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, marginal costing, capital budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
