Assignment Details

Our client, a leading FMCG organisation, is looking for an independent consultant who can deliver the following responsibilties :


1. Weekly RTM Movement Tracking:100% capture of all RTM changes across regions and business units (e.g., DB exits/additions, 3P-led transitions, new coverage plans).

 


2. Collaboration with Global RTM Teams: 100% participation in global RTM syncs and sharing of local updates within 24 hours of meetings.(Ongoing)

 


3. RTM Master Tracker Maintenance: RTM tracker updated with 100% accuracy and no more than 2 working days' lag. (Weekly)

 


4. Consolidated Reporting (Slides/Decks): Delivery of RTM update deck every Friday EOD with no more than 5% variance in reported metrics. (Weekly)

 


5. Distributor Consolidation Tracking: Timely capture and reporting of any DB mergers, exits, onboarding, or changes in route coverage. (Real-time / Weekly Summary)

 


6. Insights & Flags: Monthly summary slide highlighting key movements, risks, opportunities, and patterns in RTM changes.  

 


7. Ad-hoc Requests / Stakeholder Support  Fulfillment of all ad-hoc data or insight requests from leadership within 48 hours.(As needed)

 


8. System & Process Readiness Maintain process documentation and SOPs for RTM change tracking, with 100% audit-ready compliance.

 

Skills Required

Analytical Skills:

Analyzing market data, identifying trends, and evaluating the effectiveness of different RTM approaches. 

 

Sales and Marketing Expertise:

A strong understanding of sales processes, marketing strategies, and channel management. 

 

Distribution Network Management:

The ability to select, negotiate with, and manage distribution partners, ensuring effective product placement and availability. 

 

Communication and Relationship Building:

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively interact with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. 

 

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

The ability to identify and address challenges, make informed decisions, and adapt strategies as needed. 

 

Adaptability and Flexibility:

The willingness to adjust RTM plans based on changing market dynamics and customer needs. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Working effectively with other departments, such as marketing, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of RTM strategies. 

 

Data Analysis and Reporting:

The ability to track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of RTM initiatives. 

 

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for sales, marketing, and data analysis.
