Assignment Details

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is looking for an experienced E-commerce Growth Lead to drive the digital commerce strategy for a consumer appliance brand based in Goa. This 18-month role focuses on scaling online sales across Amazon, Flipkart, and D2C channels. The candidate will develop growth plans, optimize listings, lead performance marketing, and align with category teams on pricing, assortment, and promotions. Close collaboration with internal teams and marketplace partners will be key to delivering sustained growth and expanding online market share. Experience in consumer appliances or similar categories is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Own the end-to-end e-commerce P&L across online marketplaces and D2C platforms.
  • Devise and implement e-commerce acceleration strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage partnerships and performance on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
  • Optimize digital shelf presence, listings, pricing, and category performance.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between marketing, supply chain, and category teams.
  • Track and report KPIs, prepare dashboards, and recommend actionable insights.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities, new product launches, and promotions.
  • Build and mentor a small e-commerce support team if needed.

Skills Required

  • 8–10+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in consumer durables/appliances.
  • Prior experience working with or within Amazon, Flipkart, or leading appliance companies (e.g., Samsung, LG, Havells, Atomberg, etc.).
  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth in digital commerce channels.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce operations, digital marketing, platform algorithms, and category management.
  • MBA from a top-tier institution preferred.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to Goa as needed during the project.
