Assignment Details

Our client, a leading American multinational manufacturer of confectionery and pet food, is looking to engage with a Consultant- Asset Executive, for a period of 12 months, extendable post that as well. 

 

This role exists to drive growth through cold chain asset deployment, ensuring expanded availability in urban and semi-urban markets. The position is critical for managing end-to-end chiller execution, asset governance, and ensuring compliance with route-to-market strategies.

 

Asset Deployment & Execution:

Lead the deployment and execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual chiller placement plans.

Manage the Cold Chain service network to ensure uninterrupted service to retail outlets.

Expand supplier/vendor networks in untapped territories.

Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Cooler installation and management.

Asset Governance & Performance Tracking:

Monitor performance and ROI of Coolers placed at retail points.

Implement processes to track chiller availability and performance using defined metrics.

Work closely with Sales and Vendor teams to ensure proper maintenance and asset hygiene.

Budget & Cost Management:

Manage budgets related to chiller operations, ensuring cost-effective asset servicing and deployment.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, IT, Finance, Commercial) and external vendors.

Ensure timely execution of chiller-related initiatives by coordinating across cross-functional teams.

Share data-driven insights to support decision-making and compliance.

Skills Required

Education: MBA (mandatory)

Experience: 2–3 years of robust FMCG sales or trade marketing experience.

Preferred Exposure:

Field-level cold chain asset management experience.

Sales experience in Metro markets (essential).

Background with companies like Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, HUL is highly desirable.

Delivers Results: Strong planning, execution, analytical and time management skills.

Collaborates Effectively: Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and listening skills.

Drives Engagement: Proven ability to coordinate and influence external vendors and internal stakeholders.
