Assignment Details

Our client, a growth equity fund company is looking to engage with a Strategic Advisor to work closely with the Founder of a growing FMCG venture. The ideal candidate will bring over 25 years of deep, hands-on experience in building and scaling FMCG P&Ls, with a strong focus on sales and distribution strategy. This is a high-impact, advisory role for a seasoned professional who has previously led or significantly contributed to business strategy, distribution networks, and product planning in the FMCG space. Prior experience in the sanitary napkin category with top-tier companies is highly preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities:
-Serve as a strategic advisor and sounding board to the Founder on key business decisions.

-Help set up and institutionalize business review mechanisms and performance tracking.

-Provide guidance on product focus areas, market prioritization, and resource allocation.

-Advise on sales and distribution strategies based on market dynamics and consumer insights.

-Support the leadership in strategic planning, forecasting, and execution.

-Bring a structured, insight-driven approach to business growth and scalability.

 

Duration- 6 months

Capacity- 1 to 2 days a week

Location- Gurgaon

Skills Required

-25+ years of leadership experience in FMCG, especially in P&L ownership, sales, or distribution roles.

-Has successfully built or scaled FMCG businesses, with a clear understanding of go-to-market and execution nuances.

-Prior experience with sanitary napkins or personal care products is a strong plus.

-Ability to collaborate closely with founders and leadership teams in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

-Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
