Assignment Details

Our Client, a leading India-focused investment platform, is looking to engage with a Independent Commercial Expert.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Manage key client accounts, understand requirements, and coordinate with R&D and supply teams for solution delivery.

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights  to guide pricing, positioning, and portfolio decisions and support commercial decisions.

Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and negotiation plans to achieve margin and volume targets.

Oversee customer briefs, sampling, and project timelines to ensure successful execution.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and pipeline updates.

Strengthen relationships and ensure a seamless client experience.

The Consultant should have an understanding of the F & F market and related agro-chem / pharma extensions.

 

Skills Required

  • Strong commercial acumen with skills in pricing, negotiation, and revenue growth.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication abilities.
  • Ability to analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity.
  • Experience coordinating with R&D, marketing, and supply chain for project execution.
  • Solid understanding of flavour & fragrance development, formulation basics, sensory evaluation, and application processes.
  • Ability to interpret market trends, regulatory changes, and raw material shifts across F&F, agro-chem, and pharma sectors.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, data interpretation, and preparing actionable business insights.
