Assignment Details

Our client is helps in digital transformation for all industries globally and are currently looking to engage with a Business Development Consultant  who can help with  the following :- 

Key Responsibilities :- 


1. Identify potential early adopters and potential clients of gas engines/gensets and build
strategic industry relationships to facilitate direct sales engagements, thereby generating
early market traction.

2. Facilitate access to government tenders by assisting with navigating tender processes -
Identification of suitable tenders, preparation and submission of bids, post-submission
communication, and communicate timely information to support the client’s participation.

3. Develop a professional sales network by establishing strong connections with suppliers,
distributors, and after-sales service providers to ensure efficient coverage and support for end customers, while setting up an optimized local supply chain.

4. Analyze the existing supply chain framework of the Client and recommend actionable improvements focusing on cost reduction, procurement efficiency, and network optimization based on insights gathered during market and stakeholder interactions.

5. Provide ongoing market intelligence and regulatory updates to ensure alignment with evolving industry standards, policies, and competitive dynamics within the Indian gas engine
market.

6. Support preparation of business plan that integrates market insights, competitive position,
and strategic initiatives to guide the client’s phased market entry and long-term growth objectives.

Skills Required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or partnership management, preferably with in gas engines/genset industry. 
  • Strong corporate network with established connections to decision-makers in key industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
