Our client, a Provider of Market Intelligence Technology Tools, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Data Science team as a Consultant – Research and Data Analysis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting core data updates for multiple countries through extensive data analysis and research.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Analysis of Large Data Sets: Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets to extract actionable insights for model development.
Data Transformation: Utilize analytical frameworks to process raw talent supply data, transforming it into usable input data through exploratory data analysis.
Problem Dissection: Employ secondary research and data analysis skills, inductive and deductive reasoning, abstract thinking, and root-cause analysis to dissect complex problems.
Automation: Contribute to the automation of manual data update processes by developing robust, sustainable, and reusable techniques.
Note: This is a project-based role that requires Full-time Remote support for an initial duration of 12 months.
Skills Required
1. Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics.
2. Experience: 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
3. Technical Skills:
- Expertise in at least one of the following statistical analysis programs: R, Python.
- Good knowledge of a querying language (e.g., SQL).
- Strong proficiency in advanced functions of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, graphics, statistics).
4. Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in cross-functional teams.
5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
