About the Opportunity:
A reputed group company is seeking to engage an expert-level consultant to support a strategic project focused on strengthening and accelerating the field testing and validation framework for agricultural tyres (radial, bias) and rubber tracks. The consultant will play a key advisory role in designing and establishing robust, real-world and accelerated testing systems aligned with global best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and advise on accelerated field testing protocols for tyres and rubber tracks.
2. Support the creation of internal testing capabilities, including protocols, infrastructure, and measurement systems.
3. Provide technical guidance based on practical tractor and farm validation scenarios.
4. Offer mentorship and strategic input to internal teams on performance metrics, wear analysis, traction, soil interaction, and slip characteristics.
5. Contribute to building sustainable in-house frameworks for validation testing.
Work Arrangement:
Location: Remote with occasional field visits
Nature of Work: Mostly remote; flexibility for brief on-site engagements
Skills Required:
- Senior-level professional with 20+ years of experience
- Preference for recently retired experts with deep hands-on expertise
- Field testing and validation of agricultural tyres (radial, bias) and rubber tracks
- In-depth knowledge of soil-tyre interaction, wear characteristics, traction/slip analysis, and performance benchmarking
- Proven ability to design structured testing systems and develop in-house capability
- Strong mentoring capabilities
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across technical and field teams
- Clear, actionable guidance and communication
Preferred Background:
