Assignment Details

Our client, a leading Indian conglomerate, is looking for an independent consultant who can deliver the following responsibilities:

1. Conduct In-Depth Research:
a) Execute thorough research on industry best practices, legal requirements, and emerging trends in HR policy formulation.
b) Analyze data from various sources to identify key insights and potential impact on HR policies.

2. Policy Development:
a)Collaborate with the HR team to contribute to the creation, revision, and enhancement of HR policies.
b) Provide well-researched recommendations for the development of new policies or the modification of existing ones.

3.Legal Compliance:
a) Stay abreast of relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure HR policies align with legal requirements.
b) Work with legal counsel when necessary to interpret and implement compliance standards.

4. Benchmarking:
a) Conduct benchmarking exercises to compare HR policies against industry peers and competitors.
b) Provide benchmarking analysis to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

5. Documentation and Reporting:
a)Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing research findings and their implications for HR policy development.
b) Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of policies and related research.

6. Collaboration:
a) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, and senior management, to gather input and ensure alignment in policy development.

7.Continuous Improvement:
a) Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in HR policy formulation.
b) Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies related to HR policy development.

Skills Required

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience in HR research and policy formulation.
3. Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and industry trends.
4. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in research and documentation.
7. Proficiency in using research tools, databases, and data analysis software.
