Our client is looking to engage with a Portfolio Analyst consultant who will work across a breath of thematic areas driving high-quality analysis that is useful for constructing narratives, informing policy and inspiring action. India has a remarkable ambition to becoming the first major economy to industrialize without carbonizing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of rigorous, quality research and analytics - across a diverse rage of technical, scientific and economic topics. Adaptation of technical, scientific and economic collateral into material that is fit-for purpose for outreach and engagement.
- Designing a model to identify and showcase growth-stage climate tech innovations (from start-ups, academia or industry) that are both climate-science sound, and have the potential to scale in India. Supporting outreach and engagement with national and state level policymakers, government institutions/bodies, thinktanks and other partners. Build / foster coalitions and act as ambassador for the org.
- Support organization's team and other partners with research and analytics support to align engagement with policy makers and coordinating across stakeholders. Monitoring progress based on milestones and timelines defined in the work plan. Prepare and review the annual reports on the project progress across on-going projects. Facilitate, with partners, development and deployment of assessment tools for monitoring and impact evaluations, including third-party evaluations across the project locations.
- Increasing the salience of core issues though strategic communication, and positioning of the organization as a distinctive and constructive thought leader.
