Assignment Details
Our client, a climate tech company, is looking to engage with a consultant to do LCA (life cycle assessment) and EPD (Environment product declaration).
1. Manage and contribute to projects through all phases - from the preparation of proposals and new bids through to delivering work and managing project delivery.
2. Complete Life-cycle assessment (LCA) modelling, analysis and reporting, Environment Product Declaration (EPD) publication and listing.
3. Drive future improvements and innovations in LCA services.
4. Ensure robust and credible outcomes in accordance with relevant standards by which LCA and the associated verification scheme is developed and operated.
5. Support technical experts in the upkeep and evolution of the underpinning Sustainable Products science base, to ensure that product development is scientifically led.
6. Support the development of digital platforms to strengthen the Sustainable Products LCA and EPD product offer in the market.
Skills Required
1. Experience with modelling software and LCA tools.
2. Should have done 5-7 LCAs for engineering goods.
3. Knowledge and understanding of the principles of LCA.
4. Demonstrable passion for environmental sustainability and knowledge and an understanding of environmental issues relevant to the built environment.
5. Excellent communication skills, an ability to understand and interpret stakeholder needs.
