Assignment Details

As a Technical writer, you will be responsible for creating effective product documentation, write procedure manuals, technical specifications, process documentation, user guidelines.Closely work with Product & Technical teams to create quality user facing content. You will also help with internal process and operation documentation.

In this role , you will be an influential member as a single point of contact & will collaborate and excel within the team and cross functionally. You will strive to create content that helps increase customer adoption and help the Product & technical team build internal & external documentation, accessible to internal stakeholders & larger ecosystem

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Product, Project Management & Technical team members
2. Analyze and manage existing and potential content
3. Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
4. Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, process documentation, user guidelines, Online help & In app development
5. Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
6. Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration
7. Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation

Objectives of this Role

1. Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational & Payment ecosystem standards
2. Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
3. Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
4. Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
5. Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement

Skills Required

Masters/Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field

Industry experience as an effective technical writer (Experience in Payments & Fintech domain preferred)

Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences

Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Willing to be trained, but can also work under minimal supervision
