Assignment Details
Our client, one of the country's leading conglomerates, is looking to engage with an ESG Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Life Cycle Analysis: Conduct comprehensive life cycle assessments of products, with a specific focus on understanding and mitigating their environmental impact.
2. Carbon Neutrality: Evaluate and advise on strategies for achieving carbon neutrality, including the assessment of the environmental footprint throughout the production life cycle of commodities.
3. Framework Knowledge: Demonstrate extensive knowledge of carbon neutrality frameworks, including but not limited to carbon credits and similar mechanisms. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
4. Consulting Support: Provide consulting support to clients on corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, with a focus on carbon footprint reduction and sustainability initiatives.
5. Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific sustainability goals and develop tailored solutions to meet their ESG objectives.
6. Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on emerging trends, regulations, and technologies related to environmental sustainability and carbon neutrality.
Location: Mumbai, Worli Office (Full-Time Onsite)
Duration: 3-4 Months
Skills Required
1. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 3-6 years of relevant experience in management consulting, technical roles, or social sector organizations.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
5. Proven track record of project management and delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
6. Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.
Experience in conducting life cycle analysis of products, particularly within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, or expertise in assessing the carbon neutrality of organizations would be highly beneficial.
