Assignment Details

Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is looking to engage with a Consultant. They are in the process of starting manufacturing excellence work for a Global Seafood Leader focused on their plant in Ghana. This is a tuna can manufacturing plant – which includes activities like loining and canning. The main assets include a chilling room, a manual loining process, and semi-automated canning operations.

Key responsibilities:
• To design and implement the manufacturing excellence program for 6 months and will ask the client to continue implementing them going forward.
• To continue supporting the end client team after the team completes the 6 months, maybe for the following period of 6-12 months (this depends on the profile)
• The RTN resource should overlap with the team to ensure that the ideas and approach are well understood.

Duration: 8-10 months
Capacity: Full time
Location: Should stay in Ghana for extended periods of time, maybe 3-4 weeks at a stretch. Could be 3 weeks in and 1 week out (Expenses will be borne by the client)

Skills Required

• Need to have deep experience / expertise in tuna/fish manufacturing process. Ideally should have been a head of plant (preferably in African continent)
• Should stay in Ghana for extended periods of time (maybe 3-4 weeks at a stretch). Could be 3 weeks in and 1 week out
• Familiarly of working / living in Africa (Ghana, Nigeria) will be an advantage
