We are seeking a full-time advisor to support the end-to-end project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring deep operational expertise in ship management, particularly in Crewing and Procurement, and will be expected to work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders across India and Singapore.
Lead and support value stream analysis of ship management processes (focus on Crewing & Procurement)
Conduct detailed process mapping and diagnostics to identify inefficiencies
Engage with on-ground operations teams across client sites in India (e.g., Chennai) and Singapore
Deliver key outputs including:
As-is vs. To-be workflows
Pain-point identification
Prioritized list of improvement initiatives
Drive recommendations leveraging simplification, elimination, and automation strategies
Provide guidance to internal project teams and ensure alignment with client expectations throughout the engagement
Prior work experience with leading Ship Management companies (e.g., V.Ships, Anglo-Eastern, BSM, OSM Thome, etc.) or Ship Owner/Operator firms (e.g., Seaspan, ONE SEA)
Deep hands-on expertise in Crewing and Procurement processes within ship management
Background in shipping operations or vendors; not from a pure consulting background
Familiarity with tools and systems used in these workflows
Ability to independently run diagnostics and engage operational teams across geographies
Experience with process redesign and optimization in maritime/logistics
Exposure to automation technologies (e.g., RPA, ERP-based workflows)
Familiarity with Indian shipping industry operations
Background in operations transformation
