Assignment Details

Our client, A leading global consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Process Engineer with design expertise to collaborate with our Engineering/Design Lead. The ideal candidate will help identify scalability blockers, optimize processes, and uncover opportunities for improvement across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Engineering/Design Lead to analyze current semiconductor processes and designs, identifying areas for scalability and performance improvement.

2. Evaluate and optimize process flow, materials, and equipment to ensure alignment with scalability and efficiency goals.

3. Conduct root cause analysis and propose solutions to address process and design bottlenecks.

4. Develop and implement innovative process methodologies for improved product performance and cost-efficiency.

5. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide technical insights, recommendations, and best practices.

6. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting findings, recommendations, and progress.

Please note: This is an Onsite role in Bangalore/Chennai for 6 months.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor process engineering with a strong emphasis on design and scalability.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes such as lithography, etching, deposition, and metrology.
  • Strong design knowledge, including design for manufacturability (DFM) and process integration.
  • Consulting experience with top-tier firms (e.g., MBB ) or equivalent industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or similar process optimization methodologies is a plus.
