Our client, India’s leading real estate company, is looking to engage subject matter experts or expats from China to support a mechanization-led efficiency drive across its infrastructure business.
Phase 1: Strategic Assessment & Roadmap Development
Conduct a detailed study of existing construction sites, including Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Water, Oil & Fuel (O&F), and Urban Infrastructure.
Identify suitable mechanization technologies from China, Hong Kong, or Singapore that can be adopted across projects.
Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) and productivity enhancement potential of the recommended technologies.
Develop a phased mechanization roadmap and implementation strategy for different verticals.
Phase 2: Supplier Engagement & Deployment Support
Identify and connect with relevant manufacturers/OEMs in China for sourcing construction machinery and equipment.
Support commercial negotiations with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and contract terms.
Assist in the logistics and operational aspects of equipment procurement and delivery to India.
Act as a liaison with Chinese suppliers to ensure smooth coordination, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
Deep understanding of construction site operations and mechanization practices.
Experience in sourcing and vendor engagement, particularly within the Chinese manufacturing ecosystem.
Strong knowledge of civil and infrastructure machinery, tools, and technologies.
Proven ability to assess ROI and develop technology roadmaps for construction projects.
Mandarin proficiency (spoken/written) and experience working with Chinese OEMs would be a strong advantage.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a cross-cultural orientation.
