Our client, a leading FMCG company is looking to engage with a results-driven Senior Manufacturing Operations Specialist to support and optimize daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in production processes, a deep understanding of manufacturing systems, and the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
● Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve operational bottlenecks and drive performance.
● Analyze operational metrics (OEE, downtime, yield, throughput) and provide insights for corrective actions and efficiency gains.
● Lead root cause investigations for process deviations, quality issues, or equipment failures, and follow through with corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
● Support training and development of production teams on SOPs, safety practices, and lean manufacturing principles.
● Coordinate with planning and logistics teams to ensure material availability and minimal production disruptions.
● Drive and support projects involving equipment upgrades, process automation, or layout improvements.
● Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, ISO, HACCP).
● Contribute to strategic planning and execution of production capacity expansion or scale-up initiatives.

● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field. Master’s is a plus.
● 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with increasing responsibility.
● Solid understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
● Proficient in manufacturing systems and tools (e.g., MES, ERP, SPC tools).
● Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
● Experience in working within regulated environments (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO 9001) is highly preferred.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
