Assignment Details

Our client, a manufacturer and re-filler of Refrigerant gases in India is looking for consultants for a strategy assignment for industries like Renewable, Green Hydrogen, Power Trading, Medical Equipment, Refrigerant, Venture Capital, Pharma, Coal & Ash handling, Airport & transportation.

Work Involves:
- Doing market studies in respective industries,
- Both domestic & select international markets in terms of current market volume, market outlook, key competitors, segmentations of market, regulations, policy, supply-side & demand-side analysis of the market & constraint/opportunities, and - - Adjacencies/new opportunities in the respective industry.
- Shortlisting of opportunities based on financial analysis
- Identifying key initiatives,
- Resource planning. ie. capital, manpower, capabilities, capacity, etc.
- Risk analysis etc for strategy development. Impact of technological changes on the business. Impact of policy changes by government
- Economic analysis of each business
- Current portfolios analysis in terms of benchmarking, and identifying areas of operational improvement
- Synthesize inputs received on strategic imperatives during CEO meetings
- Growth strategy: Organic or Inorganic growth, M&A, JVs, Choice of technology

Skills Required

- Must be from IIMs/ISB + MBB
- experience in long-term corporate Strategy Formulation backed up with market research
- Consulting experience with a top-tier consulting firm
- Strong data analysis and report-writing skills
- Comfort with doing hands-on research & data analysis
- Comfort with speaking to industry experts to validate hypotheses & points of view as needed
