Our client is a Financial Services Firm and is looking for a Legal Consultant will support the Central Legal Team by providing legal assistance across multiple
business verticals.
Key Responsibilties:
1-Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts including service agreements, NDAs,
engagement letters, and vendor contracts for central and partner functions.
2-Identify and highlight legal, commercial and risk related deviation, from standard templates and internal policies and provide structured mitigation inputs.
3-Support the Investment Banking business in reviewing and negotiating NDAs, engagement letters,and related commercial documents.
4- Provide contractual risk inputs for IB-related engagements as required.
Wealth Management Support
5-Review service contracts, distribution agreements, and other commercial arrangements for the
Wealth Management business.
6-Support the business on contractual and legal queries in line with regulatory and internal
frameworks.
7-Act as a shared legal resource by providing ad-hoc and day-to-day legal support across other
business verticals.
6-Conduct legal research and contract reviews as required.
1-Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
2- 5- 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
3- Mandatory experience and exposure to corporate services, wealth management and investment banking.
4- Prior in-house experience within a financial services organization or exposure through a reputed law firm is preferred.
5- Strong commercial contracting and negotiation skills.
6-Sound understanding of financial services and regulatory environment.
7-Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
8- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
9-High attention to detail with a practical and solution-oriented approach
