Assignment Details

Our client, a global Not for Profit organization, works in public health, education and poverty space. They are looking to engage with a Senior Consultant to perform the following responsibilities and work closely with the Senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop three investment opportunities in women’s health, livelihood, climate justice and education with all business cases and presentations for enabling fund raising in the US and India and securing investment commitment of Rupees 17-20 crore for executing the investment opportunities through the CARE Social Ventures in India.
2. Develop an investment model in start-ups and incubate a start-up cohort focused on CARE’s impact areas and build a seed fund of Rupees 17-20 crore for funding the start-up cohort.
3. Build a business case and operating model for building a consulting vertical and develop anchor clients in India with an estimated annual outlay of Rupees 5 crore
4. Support the development of operating systems and governance models for the envisaged social enterprise
5. Securing commitment from 3-4 highly reputed and accomplished professionals to be on the board of the envisaged social enterprise

Skills Required

1. Extensive experience in leading programmes in Strategy roles in the development sector is a must have
2. Excellent project management, stakeholder management and team management skills are required
