Our client, a top tier management consulting firm is looking to engage with a Consultant from finance functional background with any experience in automation of reporting.
Key responsibilities:
-Working with account LT team to run a light touch diagnostics ( time and duration to be discussed depending on feasibility)
- Map out the month closing process for a publicly traded fortune 500 company and provide solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the process.
- Finance functional background with any experience in automation of reporting
- Experience of in Business analysis and Financial modelling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work ‘hands-on’ and multi-task in an energetic environment.
-Experience in process improvement initiatives within Finance function, ‘business process mapping within Finance’, ‘month-close or financial-close process mapping and improvement’, ‘month-close automation’ etc.
- Clear must-haves: - familiar with finance automation, either have used automation tools/levers as a core and senior member of a finance team in a global company or as an external auditor.
- Familiar with finance automation (not IT in FS) – this means people who are familiar with how automation / tech tools can automate various finance processes in a multinational company.
