Our client, a leading IT Services firm, is looking to engage with a Senior Consultant who has worked in the CPG industry in the management and marketing industry, to help structure and drive a critical marketing initiative around how to best leverage Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
The client is based in London & this will require travel to London.
The business advisor is expected to work closely with the team and end client in developing a marketing blueprint that leverages CDPs and helps think through an implementation approach as well. More specifically this will entail:
• Guide the development of a marketing strategy and approach for the client that is omnichannel and leverages customer data
o Bring to bear learnings and best practices from other CPG companies to see what has worked well with leveraging data across core marketing levers - customer acquisition, product marketing, branding, demand generation management, partner marketing strategy development and execution & digital marketing.
• Work with the team to derive insights from existing customer data and develop a framework for data collection and use
o Help define an effective implementation approach to derive the best results from the investment in CDP - this will include the operating model, governance, investments needed in team capabilities
• Participate in regular problem-solving sessions with senior stakeholders from the end client and build alignment around the blueprint and approach
• Deep dive and analyse the sales, growth, customer behaviour and trends to build growth charts and give business insights leading to business actions
- Techno-functional business consultant with 15-20 years of experience in strategy consulting & marketing
- Experience of working with CPG Industry brands like Unilever, and PNG etc.
- Advanced analytical skills to drive brand growth and health
- Understanding of media and marketing metrics/KPIs, ad technology and platforms
- Expert on deriving insights from customer data platforms (CDP)
- Experience of working in a Technical & digital space & managing digital marketing plan & initiatives
- Understanding of CPG business processes with ability to drive change & adoption of tech intervention to achieve desired business objectives
- Techno-Functional orientation/aptitude – knowing relevant tech capabilities available/applicable in the industry
