Assignment Details

Our client, a leading multispecialty health care unit is looking to engage with a consultant for a Cost Optimization initiative. The consultant will handle all the centers under the healthcare unit aegis.

Roles and Responsibilities -

- Monitor various elements of costs on a daily basis for all 4 units.
- Arrange meeting with HOD of various functions / unit heads and give insight about
opportunities.
- Suggest / recommend processes which will improve the process with a reduction in
cost.
- Cost comparison with other units in Apollo group and with competitors and share
with function heads.
- Work with Materials / Maintenance head and help in preparing capex feasibility
report.
- Collect and analyze data, put them in a structured format which will give insight
about the activity leading to this cost
- Suggest alternate ways of doing things / alternate material which can be used

This project would require full time capacity (6 days a week) for a duration of 6 months, in Hyderabad

Skills Required

- Experience of at least 5-7 years in similar role preferably with a background of health care industry.
- Good experience in Cost Optimization
- Thorough understanding of the cost components of healthcare business namely materials, power, fuel, salary costs and admin costs and an eye for cost optimization.
- Good analytical, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Problem Solving Skills
