Assignment Details

Our client, a leading pharma company is looking to engage with an IT consultant to partner with Integrated Product Development (IPD) for Business Intelligence / Analytics / Project Management initiatives. Evaluate various technologies which would help IPD to Analyze data solutions quickly. Support Analytics strategy implementation by working with Business leads for Data Analytics, Predictive Analysis, and associated Solution Delivery planned for IPD. Qualify technologies available in market, work with vendor to conduct POC, ensure timely implementation of solution. Work with internal and external team to drive Data analytic excellence planned in IPD Labs. Manage projects as per agreed SLA.

I. Automations & Simplifications of data using various reporting tools, Business Intelligence platforms etc.
 Participate and lead Data analytic advancement in IPD Labs
 Develop analytics dashboards using leading market solutions to give meaningful output to data sets.
 Create Analytics strategy for IPD Labs, in alignment with corporate business strategy.
 Study Data Governance and create a blueprint for IPD

II. Evaluation data generated by various individuals, systems in IPD. Work with data and understand potential areas for using this data in more meaningful manner using Business Intelligence/ Data Analytics tools.
 Understand Processes at various departments of IPD and discuss with business owner for futuristic data reading
 Manage data and create Data analytic culture in IPD by encouraging data analysis of various system in connection with various data points
 Work with various teams to understand their agenda and align technology support accordingly
 Participate in various business discussion, particularly from Data management angle
 Ensure all technology change impact positively on processes, people, system etc.
 Create change management strategy
 Work with business users to create business case and ROI matrix (wherever applicable)

III. Project Planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
 Hold responsibility of all technology projects running across all IPD Labs
 Ensure timely closure of all project
 Manage resources, escalation and payments with help of internal team
 Keep a watch on project budget, schedule, quality & cost
 Create a project dossier including project plan, cash flow, resources register, risk register etc.

IV. Vendor Management  Evaluate various technology partners
 Evaluate various technology solution available in market to cater IPD Lab requirements
 Demonstrate, pilot technology solution to Lab users
 Manage vendor communication contract, invoices, payments
 Work with Vendor community and define appropriate escalation route with vendors
 Ensure right delivery and appropriate payment mechanism from and for vendors.

V. New Technology evaluation
 Review peers and industry for latest technology implementation for IT
solution management for IPD
 Evaluate and suggest newer technologies / vendor for Labs
 Define Scope and boundaries for technology landscape and manage pilots for IPD
 Arrange demos, hands-on /information about newer technologies in Data management area.

VI. Support Internal stakeholders for implemented solutions
 Manage change in an appropriate way
 Educate user community on change management
 Lay down expectations with partners in positive manner with no / less push back for technology implementations
 Ensure continuity of business after implementation of new technologies
 Review post implementation status by surveys and such tools
 Ensure timely communication with internal stakeholders

Skills Required

 3-6 years of hands-on experience in IT, specifically in Analytics and visualization tools primarily
Spotfire is a must have.
 Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, Big Data Management) is crucial.
 Tableau, SAP BO, Power BI experience is good to have.
 Having Business understanding and experience in Pharmaceuticals along with Project
Management experience will be added advantages.
