Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global FMCG firm is looking to engage with a consultant having fragrance expertise and project management areas on behalf of the Skin Care fragrance team. The role will also include scouting relevant South Asia trends and sharing products of olfactive interest with the fragrance team in the US.

Key Deliverables include: The focus of this role is to support the current experts in project management and the trends agenda, as well as conducting fragrance expert assessments for agreed projects. Below the expectations for each scope:

1. Project Management
o Follow up across all functions to secure timely fragrance brief input
o Request and manage unfragranced base timelines, as well as fragrance oil requests
o Ensure fragrance team gets relevant brief olfactive benchmarks timely
o Manage logistics for fragrance submission sessions (samples, set up, etc)
o Request quote from Fragrance House

2. Fragrance Expertise
o Assess skin care fragrance submissions in-use, capture and submit feedback to Fragrance Team and Fragrance Houses
o Make final fragrance recommendation for fragrances under her/his care
o For select projects, curate the fragrances for submission to answer a brief
o For select regulatory and supplier qualification projects, lead the fragrance workstream from beginning to end

3. Trends
o Share quarterly trends report (along with products to smell shipped to the US) highlighting new launches in Skin Care, Olfactive Trends across Personal Care, interesting fragrance claims/benefits/stories, and olfactive mapping

Note: This is 24 Months long project and consultant will be required to based in Mumbai during this whole duration. The Consultant will be reporting the Global Fragrance Manager based in US.

Skills Required

- 7+ years of fragrance experience, at least 1 year in skin care is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Passion for high performance, agility and consumer love.
- Should be able to prioritize complex workloads, ability to work across multiple time zones and self-motivate.
