Our Client, a leading FMCG company is looking for a Consumer and Market Insights Consultant.
The role based out of Mumbai (India) for strategic partnership with the Fabric Cleaning Team. The consultant will play a key role in shaping the category/portfolio trajectory, showing business key growth opportunities, partnering a leadership Team comprising of Brand Directors and Category Vice President, global cross functional leadership team and the CMI community. The Consultant will lead brands from Mass and popular segment within the category.
Key responsibilities:
The Manager will be required to take ownership of all aspects of the product life cycle from demand generation, innovation, mix creation, communication development to landing products and insights into the business. In addition, in his/her responsible categories, this role will assume full responsibility for the following:
Performance Management
1.Act as a catalyst to drive analytic driven business decisions. Serve as the trusted data and research methodology consultant to different functions across the organization.
2.Partner back to the CCBT priorities for update, intervention, and opportunities
3.Blend consumer & market data and other performance metrics (e.g. financial, Trade, consumer trends and behavioral) to look at business performance holistically.
4.Master of market insight within business team - play a key role in driving cross categories insights, portfolio opportunities via using multiple sources of data.
Drive Portfolio Development & Consumer Centric Innovation
1.Lead category portfolio strategic analysis: provide insight and identify business opportunities from market understanding & analysis for brands as well as for the category as a whole.
2.Lead different innovation research programs from ideation/co-creation to final testing of the full mix
4.Embrace new tools and methodologies, piloting new methods & approaches towards more agile research that is fit for purpose
5. Finding avenues for business growth in terms of all the 6Ps by working on strategic briefs.
Drive Consumer and Market Insights Function Agenda & Team Coach
1.Ability to identify key areas that CMI can play an even stronger role in business discussion & decision, and turn to systematic approach via leveraging CMI capacity, data and tools.
2.Ability to design, co-design, develop new methodology with support from internal / external partners.
3.Coach young talent in both Consumer and Market Insights working professionals and soft skills/leadership.
1.Growth mind-set and a bias for action.
2.Ability to challenge established norms in a constructive way and drive change.
3.Ability to manage a large and complex set of stakeholders & hold others accountable.
4.Ability to make the complex and technical simple to a non-technical audience
5.Experience of working effectively in cross functional teams.
