Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global FMCG firm, is looking to engage with a Consultant- AS/RS Expert for a 4-5 months project with part time availability. This project would be to setup Rack Clad Structure and Cranes for the warehouse.

Scope of Work:

- Understand Rack Clad Drawings and execution Schedule;
- Optimization of planning and erection schedule;
- Co-ordination of site activities and expedition of erection;
- Close Co-ordination with System Logistics on Commissioning of Cranes;
- Co-ordination of WMS Software for Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understanding Project Scope: Complete understanding of Project Scope of Racks and ASRS (Automated storage and retrieval systems);
- Finalization of Racks erection schedule: Interact with Vendor and develop schedule to reduce 50% erection timelines;
- Completion of Racks and Rack Clad building: Completion inline to agreed network by close co-ordination with Vendor and site team;
- Completion of Cranes: Co-ordinate with Vendor and site team to complete erection as per agreed timelines.

Note: The consultant can work remotely on this project but would be required to visit the site (Sumerpur, Rajasthan) frequently during the project duration.

Skills Required

- Engineering background (Mechanical/ Electrical) is preferred;
- Knowledge of MS Office, MS Projects, Autocad is preferred;
- Additional knowledge in Robotics Palletizers etc would be an added value.
- Experience in Racks erection and Warehouse design is preferred;
- Prior experience in Execution and Construction
