Assignment Details

Our Client, a leading FMCG company is looking for a Digital/SharePoint expert

The SharePoint & Data Management Specialist will be responsible for decluttering and organizing existing information in the SharePoint sites, updating, and maintaining new SharePoint sites and ensuring the traceability and accessibility
of files and documents. This role requires a strong understanding of SharePoint functionality including workflows, information management principles, and excellent organizational and communication skills. The role will involve collaboration with multiple teams to streamline processes and optimize the SharePoint environment.

Responsibilities:

Declutter and Organize SharePoint sites:
- Conduct a thorough review of existing SharePoint sites to identify outdated, duplicate, and irrelevant
content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their SharePoint needs and optimize SharePoint sites
accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategies to declutter and reorganize SharePoint sites, ensuring optimal
information flow and ease of navigation.
- Collaborate with IT to upgrade existing SharePoint based request tool.

Data Management & reporting:
- Establish and enforce file and document management best practices in SharePoint.
- Implement version control and document lifecycle management processes to maintain traceability and
ensure document integrity.
- End to end tracking of externalized business processes via trackers
- Create dashboards for trackers and publish regular reports using Power BI.

User Management:
- Manage folders & documents with user restricted access.
- Provide and maintain access to users and user groups.
- Provide support to users on SharePoint functionality, site navigation, and document management.
- Assist users in troubleshooting SharePoint-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Act as a point of contact for SharePoint-related inquiries and user feedback, addressing concerns and
suggesting improvements.

Skills Required

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in SharePoint administration and configuration, including site creation, customization, and maintenance.
- Experience in Power BI report generation.
- Strong understanding of information management principles, document lifecycle, and file organization.
- Proficient in SharePoint features and functionality, including document libraries, lists, workflows, and permissions.
- Familiarity with SharePoint branding and design principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly sites.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end users.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot SharePoint-related issues.
