We are looking for a consultant to support the Regional Category Managers in Strategic Sourcing for Professional services/IT/Real Estate categories procurement in the hub.
The role will support strategy creation, execution and management at Hub/ Region level, where required, under the supervision and direction of the Hub/Regional Head. Must interpret each category as whole (including suppliers, risks, etc), but must important, combine altogether and define the strategy for a period of at least 2-3 years.
Support in Strategic Sourcing, executing RFX, vendor management, category negotiations, Analysing RFP responses from suppliers across different business models, making different award scenarios, sharing analysis with sr stakeholders, communicating/liasoning with sr supplier leadership on different RFP milestones/clarifications etc and supporting on negotiations.
Work as part of a team managing, organizing, planning and delivering projects and/or programs to effectively develop and manage procurement initiatives, vendors and strategic sourcing projects to drive overall Procurement savings strategy and vendor management.
Specific responsibilities include:
Strategic Sourcing:
Provide strategic sourcing services for initiated RFPs, contract negotiations, contract renewals, supply consolidation and project support.
Sourcing work includes analysis of pricing models, cost comparisons, break-even analysis and return on investment models for transactions under consideration for product and/or service purchase decisions, contract renewal decisions and contract expansion or contraction decisions Strategy creation & execution
Support in Creating comprehensive sourcing strategy for the global projects or Hub/Region for spend categories (to be prioritized based on the Hub/ Region business priorities and in alignment with Hub/ Region Head), operating with a truly Hub/ Region and strategic mindset and in close collaboration with the Global Category Leaders to ensure full alignment with global strategies

Support in Delivering benefits identified in global strategies through effective strategy execution, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation
Deliver local and in country benefits ensuring local and in country Finance and affected business units are fully engaged
Support in Creating and deliver effective Hub/ Region budgets (Plans of Purchase) agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the Spend Management Framework and fully aligned with global and regional budgets
Business partnering & stakeholder management
Influence key Hub/ Region stakeholders and business partners to support strategy
development, endorse recommended strategies, support execution and agree how benefit delivery will be budgeted
External supplier relationships
Build strategic relationships with key suppliers at a senior level and lead processes to ensure value is driven from these relationships. Ensure regional considerations are accounted for in global and local supplier relationships. Leverage the Business Review Meeting process to drive the relationship.
Supply chain & risk management
Transform the supply chain to release value and make the client more responsive to business and customer needs – for example in cost control, complexity reduction, simplification, best practice procurement and use of KPIs
Identify and manage significant risks in the supply chain. Ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place and in use and that the risks are communicated appropriately within business units impacted, Procurement and the supply base
The project might get extended for another 6 months basis mutual interest and understanding.
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business or other quantitative discipline
4-8 years of sourcing/strategic sourcing experience
Strong Business acumen
Drive Business Excellence
Solid financial and/or quantitative modeling and Analytical knowledge
Understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Experience developing and/or presenting business cases
Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in a global operation
