Assignment Details

The client is a constructions materials company looking to engage a visual display and retail expert to redesign their stores across the country.

The consultant will be required to:
a)Propose displays at 8 Company owned stores in line with shopper behaviour & preferences to maximise footfalls & conversion
b)Roll-out proven models at ~200 preferred dealership

The scope of work will include:
1)Understand the Shopper Decision Tree for various geographies, consumers & product categories of tiles. S/he will use consumer behaviour to drive displays and in-store layouts for the client's range of tiles.
2) Conceptualize and develop Display strategy and brand experience initiatives that engage the shopper.to drive footfalls & conversion.
3)The project straddles design with an eye for speedy on-ground execution. It will mean bringing stakeholders together and inspiring/aligning them for action.
4) S/he will experiment at ~8 Company-owned company operated retail stores. These stores serve as a laboratory to develop proven models that can be rolled out to the larger universe of channel partners.

Skills Required

a)10+ years of experience in Visual Display/Merchandising & Retail planograms in regional & national retail chains
b)A stint in building & construction is mandatory
c)Has worked with challenger brands as well as leader brands
d)A blend of creative & analytical skills.
