Assignment Details

One of the leading brands in the Gut health, Probiotics & Daily Wellness segment is looking for a seasoned Advisor who can work with them to develop a detailed project plan and business case to scale the business. This will include:
- Leverage strong experience & in-depth understanding of the Probiotics + Gut Heath industry to define the right business model needed especially on the product development and manufacturing side. This will include mapping the key capabilities needed to identify the right bacterial strains, develop them inhouse and build out a strong product portfolio to take to market
- Outline the options to build the product capabilities under a greenfield scenario
- Identify M&A/partnership opportunities if any
- Work with the team to outline a broad business plan with a focus on capital investments needed, and developing a sense for the P&L for the next 3 – 5 years

The consultant will have access to an internal team that can help with industry research and analysis as needed

Skills Required

- Proven experience as a Business / Operations leader in the Probiotics Manufacturing / Gut Health business
- Expertise in structuring & implementing business plans
- Good understanding of Research & Development processes, product development / formulations in the Probiotics sector
