Assignment Details

Our client is looking for a Marketing Consultant to help develop a brand strategy and go to market plan for a new Men's Personal Care D2C Brand.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand existing market research on the Men's personal care industry and derive insights on potential product and positioning gaps

2. Work with senior management to identify the need for additional targeted research

3. Outline the core marketing strategy with a focus on D2C, including
- Definition of the Target Groups (TGs)
- Hypothesis on the brand and product positioning
- Working with the product team to optimise the pricing for the products
- Think through the distribution and channel strategies for the product portfolio
- Develop a detailed strategy to leverage digital channels for outreach and driving sales

4. Develop an innovative plan to launch the products as differentiated offerings; this will include thinking through product websites, presence of ecommerce marketplaces etc

5. Identify metrics to analyse in the first 3 - 6 - 12 months to assess performance

6. Work with the extended team to get the product to market

Skills Required

1. Deep Go To Market experience in the FMCG space is crucial

2. Prior experience in building and scaling D2C brands is a must

3. Strong networks with agencies and research agencies to fast track the activities needed to get to market

4. Innovative and out of the box thinking
