Our client, a leading boutique consulting firm, is looking to engage with an EE & RF Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microwave circuits; lines, filters, hybrid, switch, impedance matching;
- 2or 3 dimensional ElectroMagnetic analysis CAD tools (SONNET, ANSOFT, MicrowaveStudio);
- Microwave antenna design (desirable);
-Circuit design experience:
a) Simulated analog and mixed signal circuits with SPICE based CAD tools (MicroCap,
Mentor Graphics AccuSim).
b) Testing board-level systems in the laboratory, using oscilloscopes, logic
analyzers.
c) Mastery of micro-controllers from either TI, Microchip, Freescale, Renesas;
- Schematic and PCB:
a) Schematic capture, PCB Layout and routing, using Eagle or Cadence Allegro
PCB Designer.
b) RF and high speed digital Signal Integrity, Power Integrity.
- Hand on mastery:
a) use soldering iron to build modify PCB assembly
b) use of VNA, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, LCR meter
Key Deliverables:
- RF circuit design, analysis, fabrication, test and debugging;
- Board level circuit design, fabrication, debug, and maintenance
i) Micro-controller and digital circuits design
ii) Power converter, regulator, analog design
iii) Amplifier and signal processing
iv) Parts selection
- Antenna design, fabrication and characterization;
- System requirement analysis and design;
- Firmware development;
- PCB layout, assembly, troubleshooting;
- Test plan, test jig, test firmware;
- Design engineering and manufacturing documentation;
- Understand and maintain existing products;

- Well versed in: Micro-controller based firmware development
a. Mastery of micro-controllers from either TI, Microchip, Freescale, Renesas
b. Mastery in C language and use of processor emulator or in-circuit debugger
- Well versed in FCC standards and compliance testing;
- Well versed in IDE tools like Eclipse;
- Should have working knowledge of UDP, TCP/IP, Java
- Able to work independently and result oriented;
- Prioritize and manage work to meet critical project timelines
