Assignment Details
Our client, a leading IT boutique consulting firm, is looking to engage with a full-stack developer for a year long remote/ offshore project.
Key Responsibilities:
- To design, develop and support well-architected java applications in Service-Oriented- Architecture that satisfy both functional and non-functional requirements;
- Develop reusable, efficient code that follows the current style of development and lends towards continuous development;
- Document and troubleshoot defects as required to support highly sensitive security applications;
- Investigate new technologies and incorporate current design, implementation and testing
Desired Technology Experience:
- Java 8+ advanced concepts is highly recommended;
- Docker and Kubernetes are highly recommended;
- Wildfly, Kafka, Rabbit MQ is highly desirable;
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Angular/JQuery/HTML5/CSS is a plus
- Functional Programming is a plus
- Basic use of Linux is a plus
Note: This is a year long term remote project and the consultant would be a part of their offshore development team.
Skills Required
- Strong in Algorithms and Data structure
- Prior experience in core Java concepts (Lambdas, Streams etc)
- Experience in Unit testing
- Good Communication skills
- Has previously executed at least one full stack project
- Should be a good listener and be able to work effectively in a team across different time zones as an active participant
