Assignment Details

Our client, a global management consulting firm is looking to engage with a SME in Retail sector with specific expertise in Hypermarkets & Omnichannel who can be engaged on an as needed basis in an advisory role.

Key responsibilities:

1)Setting up of green field hypermarkets in the Retail Sector.
2)Transforming the offline hypermarkets into omnichannel retail.
3)Strategise the activities along catchment analysis, consumer behaviours understanding, creation of assortment plan/product mix accordingly creation and implementation of planogram, data analytics to assess store performance and will be handling multiple categories.
4)Involve in managing the Store operations, Warehouse operation, Logistics operations and other HR activities.
5)Manage the P&L for a zone or state comprising of atleast 30-40 stores.
6)Closely working with client to set up the retail set up, market analysis on the section.
7)Supporting with the strategic initiative, market research, consumer behaviour, store performance and operations.

Duration- 6 months (extendable)
Capacity- Part time (20+ hours or less)
Location- Remote, however Consultant should be flexible to travel as and when required to locations.

Skills Required

- Should have experience in strategy, operations and handled P&L for a state.
- Retail sector with specific expertise in Hypermarkets & Omnichannel
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong marketing domain knowledge, market research
- at least 20+ years of relevant experience of working in the Retail segment.
