Assignment Details

Our client is a consulting firm specializing in the education sector is looking to engage with a a highly skilled and motivated Educational Software Developer to join our team on a short term assignment for creating a state-of-the-art Grade Bot designed to revolutionize the grading process for school / college teachers/faculty. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive solution that incorporates OCR, NLP, and Machine Learning to automatically evaluate and grade student work against set rubrics.

Key Responsibilities-

1. Collaborate with educational experts to understand grading requirements and
translate them into technical specifications.
2. Develop and integrate OCR technology to accurately digitize printed answer
sheets and assessments.
3. Implement NLP algorithms to analyze text responses against grading rubrics.
4. Design and train Machine Learning models for automated evaluation of open-
ended questions.
5. Create a user-friendly interface for uploading documents, reviewing grades,
and providing feedback.
6. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
7. Test the software extensively to ensure accuracy and reliability.
8. Maintain and update the application as needed, incorporating user feedback
to improve functionality.
9. Ensure compliance with educational standards and data protection
regulations.

Skills Required

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or
a related field.
-Proven experience with OCR technology and NLP.
-Strong background in Machine Learning, particularly in supervised learning
Algorithms.
-Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
-Experience with developing educational software or tools is a plus.
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their machine learning
services.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
-Passion for enhancing the educational experience through technology.
