Our client, a leading American multinational manufacturer of confectionery and pet food, is looking to engage with a Consultant- Business Analyst – Customer Marketing.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF statements) and
Power Query (M) to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Comfortability to handle large volumes of data
• Develop automated reports, interactive dashboards, and data visualizations using
Power BI to provide stakeholders with intuitive and insightful views of business
metrics.
• Making PPTs with the data analysis pictorially representing the data set
2. Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them
into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
• Document user stories, use cases, and process flows to effectively communicate
requirements to development teams and other stakeholders.
3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics using Power BI
dashboards to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making
and optimize business processes..
5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
• Act as a liaison between business team and Desing team via mail communications
(Comfortability with MS office)
• Present findings and recommendations through interactive Power BI reports and
dashboards, enabling stakeholders to explore data and gain insights independently.
6. Continuous Improvement and Training:
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to data analysis, Excel,
Power Query, and Power BI.
• Provide training and support to team members on Power BI functionalities, data
visualization best practices, and data analysis methodologies..
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros),
o Power Query (M),
o Power BI (data modelling, DAX calculations, report/dashboard development).
o Comfortability in Microsoft Office tools like power-point and outlook
o MBA Qualification is a plus
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and provide
actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate
findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with business processes in CPG companies will be an added benefit
