Our client, a leading IT Services and IT Consulting firm, is looking for an individual consultant who can deliver the following responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Utilize Azure services and cloud-based solutions to optimize application architecture and infrastructure.
- Implement best practices for .NET development, including code optimization, unit testing, and security.
- Integrate Azure services such as Azure App Service, SQL Database and Azure Storage into the application.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, as well as optimize existing code for performance improvements.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest .NET and Azure development trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and manage applications on Azure.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, if required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in .NET core development.
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
- Strong understanding of Azure services and cloud computing concepts.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of web services.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
